The inspection has expired, but the certificate is still valid?
Sometimes the platform may indicate that an inspection has expired (shown with a red date), while the inspection certificate still appears to be valid. This article explains how the platform determines these deadlines and what to do if there are uncertainties.
How are deadlines determined in the platform?
Automatic link to legislation
The platform is directly connected to the applicable legislation.
For each asset, a deadline is automatically calculated based on the legal requirements and inspection intervals.
Why can there be a difference?
The inspection certificate may sometimes show a slightly longer validity period than the platform indicates.
This is because inspectors may build in a small margin for when the next inspection should take place.
The platform, however, strictly follows the legally mandated inspection frequencies, regardless of any extensions mentioned on the certificate.
