An asset has been taken out of service. How can I ensure that no new inspections are scheduled?
When an asset, such as a vehicle lift or passenger lift, has been rejected, Artion will no longer schedule new inspections. You will either need to take the asset out of service or have it repaired and recommissioned. If the asset will no longer be used, you can easily deactivate it in Artion. This will prevent any future inspections from being scheduled. In this article, we explain how to do this.
Go to the relevant dashboard
Log in to Artion and navigate to the dashboard of the site where the asset is located.
Select the asset
Click on the asset you want to deactivate. The asset’s side panel will appear — click Details to open the asset detail screen.
Set as inactive
In the asset detail screen, you’ll find the Active status.
Toggle the switch from Active to Inactive.
No more scheduled inspections
Once the asset has been set to inactive, no further inspection requests will be sent to the inspection company for that asset.
