An asset has been taken out of service. How can I ensure that no new inspections are scheduled?
When an asset, such as a vehicle lift or passenger lift, has been rejected, Artion will no longer schedule new inspections. You will either need to take the asset out of service or have it repaired and recommissioned. If the asset will no longer be used, you can easily deactivate it in Artion. This will prevent any future inspections from being scheduled. In this article, we explain how to do this.
Go to the relevant dashboard
Log in to Artion and navigate to the dashboard of the site where the asset is located.
Select the asset
Click on the asset you want to deactivate. You will now see the general overview of the asset.
Set the asset as inactive
- Click the ‘Edit’ button in the overview.
- Switch the ‘Active’ toggle to ‘Off’.
Save the changes
Click ‘Save’ to confirm the changes.
No more inspections will be scheduled
Once the asset has been set to inactive, no further inspection requests will be sent to the inspection company for this asset.
