How can I upload a permit?

If you have a permit for one or more sites, it is recommended to upload it in Artion. This ensures the permit is available for inspections that require this information, such as inspections of underground storage tanks. In this article, we explain step by step how to add a permit to a site.

For certain sites, a permit is required. This is now referred to as an environmental permit. Previously, this was a combination of an environmental permit and, for example, a building permit. For more information about the difference between both of them you can find here.

Why upload a permit in Artion?

By uploading a permit, you ensure that:

  • The inspector has access to the necessary documents for installations subject to permit requirements.
  • Your documentation is centrally available to everyone with access to the site.
  • The inspection is carried out correctly according to the conditions specified in the permit.

How do I upload a permit?

Step 1: Go to the site settings

  • Open the dashboard of the site for which you want to add a permit.
  • Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner to access the site settings.

Step 2: Navigate to ‘Permits’

  • In the settings, you will see a ‘Permits’ tab.

  • Click on it to open the section.

Step 3: Upload files

  • Click on ‘+ Permit’.
  • Select the correct document from your computer.
  • Confirm by clicking ‘Save’.

Your permit is now added and available for inspections that require this document.
