Inspection and control requirements for lifting equipment
Lifting equipment refers to mechanically powered devices used to lift loads. Depending on the type of lifting equipment, different inspection and certification frequencies apply. In this article, we explain which lifting equipment requires inspection or certification, and who is authorised to carry this out.
