An asset has been replaced. How do I add it to the inventory?

When an asset is replaced, you need to set the old asset to ‘Inactive’ and add the new asset. In this article, we explain how to do this and what information you need to provide to the Artion Support team.

Set the old asset to ‘Inactive’

Go to the dashboard and find the asset that is no longer in use.

Click on the asset to open its details.

Toggle the ‘Active’ switch to ‘Off’.

Click ‘Save’.

Submit the new asset

Send an email to support@artion.eu with the following information:

  • The name of the new asset
  • The serial number of the asset (if available)
  • A commissioning report or confirmation that the asset may be commissioned via Artion

Confirmation from the Support team

The Support team will add the new asset to the dashboard.

You will receive a confirmation once the asset has been added.
