What has changed in the status of expired inspections?
More clarity and better follow-up thanks to new statuses for expired inspections.
What has changed and why?
Until now, different follow-up phases for expired inspections were grouped under one general status: ‘Unknown’. This made it difficult to understand what was actually happening and which action was required.

To improve transparency and make compliance follow-up clearer, this status has now been replaced by three new, action-oriented statuses:
-
Requested

-
Planned

-
Waiting for report

From now on, you get a much more accurate and detailed view of the status of assets with expired inspections. This change directly affects the data shown in your dashboards and charts and helps you quickly identify the current stage of the follow-up process.
Status overview
Existing status scores (with a valid report)
When an inspection report is still valid, the familiar scores remain unchanged:
|
Score |
Meaning |
Action |
|---|---|---|
|
A (Approved) |
No remarks. The asset is safe to use. |
Continued use allowed |
|
B (Reinspection required) |
Use allowed, but issues must be resolved. |
Corrective actions required |
|
C (Rejected) |
Serious infringements or safety risks. |
Asset must be taken out of service immediately |
New statuses (when the report has expired)
Once the validity period of the last report has expired, the asset status is dynamically updated based on the follow-up:
|
Status |
Description |
When does this apply |
|---|---|---|
|
Requested |
Default status after expiry. The system has sent reminders and/or requested the next inspection to be planned. |
As soon as the report validity expires and no inspection is scheduled |
|
Planned |
A follow-up action has been confirmed and a specific inspection date has been entered in the platform. |
As soon as an inspection date is added |
|
Waiting for report |
The inspection has taken place, but the official report (with a new A, B or C score) has not yet been received or uploaded. |
Once the scheduled inspection date has passed |
